Just a mile from Hassocks Mainline railway station, served by fast trains to Brighton, Gatwick and London, and with easy access to the A23 and A27, the cottage is also ideally located for exploring further afield. It is easy to have a full day by the sea, or a day visiting the sights in London and still be back 'home' for tea, ready for a day at the races, walking on the Downs, cycling across the Weald, or just relaxing in one of the many local pubs or cafes.
Swallowfield Cottage is a welcoming and cosy self-catering holiday cottage with a south facing garden and off road parking. Located in the heart of the Keymer Conservation Area, close to Hassocks, it is situated on the northern edge of the South Downs National Park, on the border between East and West Sussex.
The cottage is located within walking distance of the South Downs Way, and provides an ideal base for walking, cycling and horse riding within the National Park and surrounding Sussex Weald.
Beyond the Downs, there are a great many places of interest to visit and explore round and about, including castles, gardens, museums, nature reserves, historic market towns, picturesque villages, beautiful countryside, dramatic cliffs and coastal beaches.
